About Our Event

We are excited to announce the UK-India Advanced Semiconductors for Sustainable Technologies 2025 conference, scheduled for Monday, 30th June, and Tuesday, 1st July. Registration is now open!

The conference will take place at the Advanced Technology Institute (ATI) Building, University of Surrey. Refreshments and poster sessions will be held on the floor above the ATI—details will be provided on our website along with the event schedule.

This conference is part of a UK-India research collaboration between the University of Surrey, UK, and the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research Thiruvananthapuram (IISER-TVM). The event will cover key topics in Quantum Semiconductors, Optical and Electronic Devices, and more, including:

  • Advanced Semiconductor Materials and Nanostructures
  • 2D Materials – Transition Metal Dichalcogenides (TMDs)
  • Organics, Hybrids & Perovskites
  • Wide Band-Gap Semiconductors
  • Critical Materials and the Circular Economy
