Conference Guidelines

Code of Conduct

The UK-India Advanced Semiconductors for Sustainable Technologies 2025 (UKIASST-2025) conference is committed to fostering a professional, inclusive, and respectful environment for all participants. We strive to make this conference a productive and enjoyable experience for everyone, regardless of gender, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, nationality, or religion. Harassment in any form will not be tolerated.

Expected Behavior

All attendees are expected to:

  • Act professionally and treat others with dignity and respect.
  • Engage in discussions and activities in a constructive and considerate manner.
  • Respect personal boundaries and obtain consent before photographing or recording individuals.

Unacceptable Behavior

Harassment includes, but is not limited to:

  • Sustained disruption of talks or events.
  • Inappropriate physical contact or unwelcome sexual attention.
  • Deliberate intimidation, stalking, or threats.
  • Inappropriate comments related to gender, sexual orientation, race, religion, disability, physical appearance, or body size.
  • Recording or photographing individuals without their explicit consent.

Enforcement & Reporting

  • If you witness or experience any violation of this Code of Conduct, please report it to a UKIASST-2025 committee member.
  • Any individual asked to stop inappropriate behavior must comply immediately.
  • Violators may be asked to leave the conference without a refund, at the sole discretion of the conference organizers.

  • The University has temporary rooms available on Stag Hill campus and Manor Park campus for students and visitors staying for short periods of time. This includes guest rooms, summer vacation rooms, graduation rooms, and exam rooms.
